Pros

Stable Job, but that's about it

Cons

Terrible workplace environment and awful customers. Would only recommend as a last-result job.

Pros

Flexible schedule, affordable tax return option for employees. Also, educational opprtunities to become a tax preparer.

Cons

The title is misleading. As a CSR, you're supposed to be half admin, and half customer service. 95% of the time is spent calling old clients to get them booked for tax returns. Most of the clients don't appreciate repeated calls (sometimes up to five times in an 8 hour shift). There is some administrative and light janitorial work involved, but that's par for the course.
