Good seasonal part time work, gives you flexibility to work around other jobs or interests. I enjoy the direct client contact, every client is unique so it keeps the work interesting.

Cons

Takes time to build a client base and your pay is based on the volume of work you produce.

I work with the best, most educated tax pros in the business. It is very satisfying to build relationships with clients over the years.

Cons

Pay is based on commission so it takes a couple of years to build a client baseand start earning a decent salery

Pros

The most flexible work place anywhere. People are great. Perfect place for semi-retired people or stay at home moms. Also great second job if you'd like some vacation money. Great education system.

Cons

Pay can be low unless you are very flexible in work locations and shifts but if you are dedicated and can put in a few years and dont mind askingf for referrals you can make very good money in a very short time.
