Pros

The Scheduling staff is well organized and considerate of the Caregiver's availability. The requests to fill in last minute shifts is with full regard to the Clients needs and the option given the Caregivers to Fill In is truly optional. I understand that flexibility is needed when last minute demands are offered. I know I can say No without explaining myself.

Cons

After completing 90 days of shift work I would appreciate the consideration of increased hourly wage. Also I would appreciate feedback from Management on my performance to be able to advance and/or obtain increased wages.

Pros

Can't think of too many pros really

Cons

Everything seems fine at first. Then you realize that it's really not They allowed some of us in senior's homes before our background check was back. Then I told them the man I cared for was so much better and he didn't need as many hours and my back was bad also so i wanted to work the minimum amount of hours ..Well my boss and owner of the company, Alison, HOUNDED texted and bothered his son for more hours or to replace me with another person. It was truly sickening how greedy they are.. They also overcharged my man for months for one hour and knew it .I've heard from other employees they do that all the time. After I received a great review and perfect care of the gent I care for..... I got a whopping 25 cent raise!!!!!!! I laughed at that..They charge $22 an hour and pay us $ 9??? Greed!

Pros

- The wealth of knowledge in the elder care field you obtain if you're interested in social work or any field related to bettering the lives of seniors - The experience you gain in relationship building - The fast acting problem solving skills you acquire

Cons

- Salary job plus commission based off monthly or yearly sales, you may be working the most overtime when your check is the lowest. - Small, but continuous lack of respect from clients and CAREGivers due to issues outside of your control (you become the trusted point of contact while client's caseworkers and other who assist at client's homes do not follow through on their obligations). - Time off is hard to come by if you're in a smaller office and business is doing well. Life/Work Balance = Not Good At All.
