Cons
It's sad to see many longtime valuable employees who either have left or are actively seeking other employment. There's cronyism, nepotism, and "mean girl" cliques. A free-for-all culture of competitiveness and egoism means many departments and individuals are solely concerned with accumulating power and advancing their own internal interests instead of working together for everyone's benefit. Loud and selfish behavior is rewarded to the detriment of quiet individuals who are ignored. Structural changes are taking the organization years into the past instead of the future. Those who try to challenge the status quo are sacrificed to the powers that be. HR is understaffed and under the executives' thumb; the hiring process is extremely frustrating and grievances go nowhere. The execs are out of touch and the board is out of reach. Sadly, if you're interested in a job where you can seek out, learn, and implement the newest and best practices of your industry, this isn't the place for you.
