Pros

Remote work available Many great people

Cons

Company is so busy buying up other tech ed companies, they have forgotten about their employees. If a company (such as originally Glynlyon) is bought and their pay SUCKS (and it did) IL does nothing to fix it. They told me in 2022 they have a committee to look over the legacy employees and fix pay. They promptly fired 400 of us a few months later.

Pros

flexible schedule I guess, ya.

Cons

They LOVE to lay people off and they do it in a horrible way. Its a less then 5 min zoom meeting where the manager says they are letting you go then the HR person takes over talking a million words a minute, then they hang up. upper management doesn't have a clue what they are doing! The person who is head of my department I have never met. Ive had 2 conversations with them. When I was hired and when I was laid off. That should explain some things.

Pros

Great product for students. User friendly interface and engaging content.

Cons

If you’re looking for a place that fosters growth and inspires you to be your very best this isn’t the place for you. Here you’ll find a fear based culture and greedy management that will throw you under the bus without thinking twice. It doesn’t matter what department you work for. They’re everywhere. If you’re a minority you’re in for a ride. As the old boys club is alive and well and their goal is to make certain it stays that way. Good luck trying to find minorities in higher up positions. They don’t exist. While most companies strive to create a nurturing and happy working environments for their employees this company could care less. They should win the title “worst company to work for.” Proceed with caution for any position that you may be applying for.
