      Amazing culture

      Pros

      This was a great place to work for; they put a lot of resources into culture, work-life balance and benefits. The team dynamics were awesome, centered around curiosity, and making things happen. I was deeply saddened at the reduction in work force, but that's the life of tech.

      Cons

      Things were unstable at the end, leading to layoffs; there was a lot of uncertainty and morale plummeted.

      Pros

      See the headline. The people at imgix are great (very smart and highly capable) and help to create a culture that results in very little attrition.

      Cons

      Fairly normal startupy struggles. Product market fit is clear, but going beyond that and finding the next big differentiator is difficult and can mean getting pulled into various directions.
