The growth here is unbelievable and I am glad to be along for the ride.

Pros

Motivated employees. Great culture. Lots of potential. Fun atmosphere. Approachable management team. The new space on Morton Street is perfect for the company and its growth. The quarterly challenges are always a blast and help to meet new people who you don't get to interact with on a daily basis.

Cons

Getting used to the open floor concept (no cubicles/offices) can take some time but this does help drive a collaborative culture.

Pros

There aren't many companies out there that have managed the kind of volume that we do and so it is exciting to be one of the pioneers on this front and learn new technologies and implement them as a big data company. The environment is a fun atmosphere with a typical "work hard and play hard" atmosphere as is typical with software companies.

Cons

As is natural in a high growth environment, the one challenge I will note is trying to do too much with too little. As we hire more people, this will subside but I also recognize it is necessary to stay ahead of competitors and continually innovate.

Great Leadership and Great Synergy

Pros

Solid core group of high level managers on the Engineering side with a great deal of knowledge of the product. Lots of new engineers within the past two years that are adding to that synergy and fluid workflow. Lots of access to learn new technologies with the ability to obtain any resource(s) adding to that knowledge. CTO does not restrict any access to books, videos, or conferences. It is strongly encouraged actually. Using latest agile methodologies and current CI and automation practices, there is a fast stable pace to getting code from commit to production servers.

Cons

Moving from a small startup to mid size 100+ company is never easy and there are some growing pains which are found in any company with this issue.
