Autocratic Leadership and a lack of transparency

Pros

They manage to hire some great people, smart and driven.

Cons

Autocratic leadership and a general lack of transparency around results. Very senior sales leaders with little or no experience in their field (or even people management experience for that matter) were put in place by the owners. Made for a miserable working environment.

Pros

Very nice worker bees in all departments and some great coworkers who are now possible life long friends…that’s it…oh wait it was 5 minutes from home. Ok really that’s it no more Pros

Cons

Complete lack of proper documentation of processes, installation instructions or just about anything that requires documenting, it does not exist here. If it does, it’s poorly written or missing key components and difficult to locate on inadequately maintained often not accessible Sharepoint. Antiquated and many years out-of-warranty hardware with no sign of imperative upgrade on the horizon. Frequent network/server outages with poor redundancy in all aspects of the infrastructure. Datacenter basically looks like a tornado passed through it the other day but it’s been like that for years. Upper management and director is atrocious, it’s the epitome of micromanagement. You will not be compensated let alone recognized for any above and beyond efforts on your part come review time. In fact, if you express your views and findings on unrealistic tasks and projects, you will be ignored and in certain cases shown the door. It is astonishing the company has made it this far with the equipment in place. Can’t say anything further as it is too depressing to think about the many other issues that plague the IT department. Again, as the title states, STAY FAR AWAY!!

Pros

able to learn about the way things work globally, friendly coworkers for the most part, being able to learn really cool things

Cons

This company is all about smoke and mirrors, they state "their all about their employees" but that's false they are all about numbers and performance but expect you to give the "human touch" to their members yet expect you to read off a script and follow unrealistic inhuman expectations. At any time you can be handling over 100 cases and they expect you to touch at least 70% of them. Its all about who's butt your kissing politically in there so you can move up, management DOESNT and I repeat DOESNT LIKE PEOPLE WHO SPEAK UP! It will definitely put a target on your back and have you written up and fired with in a few weeks to months.
