Pros

Great pay but that's it

Cons

You'll be laid off in two years. The turn around is insane.

Pros

Occassional office parties, mostly friendly staff, some good leadership

Cons

Almost zero support from PODs, micromanaged constantly, extremely heavy work loads that are not distributed evenly, learn as you go (very little training provided), upper management team does not support their teams, management team and maintenance segregated socially, constant changes in policies with very little or no communication, ambiguous corporate decisons, no job stability, and constant centralizations.

Thank you for taking the tine to offer this important feedback. I’m sorry to hear you’ve had this experience with your manager. I want to assure you that the segregation between maintenance and property management is being acknowledged. Both are extremely important to our business. Regarding your comment on corporate decisions, job stability and communications - I hope you are seeing an improvement as we work through the merger transition. As we work through the transition path, we are gaining more answers and communicating them as fast as we can. As our COO said recently, “change is hard at first, messy in the middle and gorgeous in the end.” We firmly believe we have passed through the messy middle and it’s going to be gorgeous soon. I hope you stay to see the gorgeous!

What is happening to our culture?

Pros

We used to have fun events in the office with our former senior management team. They would come down and talk to us. But this is not what our new leaders do.

Cons

We had a happy hour in Dallas last week and no one from senior management joined. Our prior CEO and leadership team would often eat lunch in our family room with other employees but some of us have never talked to our new leadership team. Most of them don't even come to the office and stay on 20th floor and then leave.

Thank you for taking the time to post this review. We couldn't agree more that culture is important. And that we've lost a bit of our mojo during the merger and resulting transitions. Company culture is definitely on the leadership team's radar, and I hope you'll begin to see a return to the culture that drew you in the first place.
