Pros

I was with the former Waypoint Homes and do not know much of the new Invitation Homes. However, I would say that it was a great culture, we delivered a great product and upper management truly supported the local teams.

Cons

New company issues, instituting new policies and implementing them immediately without a proper execution plan or feedback from the field. Our CEO Fred Tuomi is amazing!

Thank you for sharing your feedback! We are so glad you are enjoying your experience as part of the Invitation Homes team. No doubt we are moving forward quickly to integrate the two companies. That said, we're always looking to improve and will work to improve our processes to ensure better implementation planning and field participation.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. You're right - we are growing fast and we acknowledge that we've lost some of our culture during this transition phase. Now that we've recognized this issue, we are striving to regain our emphasis on the great culture that attracted so many of our employees in the first place.

Pros

Salary is decent, but they make you really work for it... The benefits are pretty standard, but nice to have.

Cons

Change and way too much of it. Policies and upper management changes what seems like hourly. I don't even know if we have an accounting team anymore and no one knows who to reach out to in corporate if there's ever a question. You oversee around 1,000 homes with one assistant manager. It's near impossible to answer your phone all day and get to all of your meetings and reports.

Thank you for sharing your comments. No doubt we operate in a fast paced environment and seek continuous improvement which results in change, and while it is exhilarating it can also be challenging for some. This year we are moving forward to implement additional areas of support for our local teams which will improve both our residents' and our associates' experience. Best wishes to you in your new endeavor.
