Pros

work with some intelligent people. nice office space. free snacks, the occasional free leftovers.

Cons

lack of training, long hours, poor pay, terrible benefits, "do the work and keep quiet" mentality, severe office politics, IH hires to fill and never promotes within, very high employee turnover. forget about having a life outside of work- you will work 6-7 days a week and get paid pennies on the dollar.

Invitation Homes Response

It's disappointing to hear that you did not find your time at Invitation Homes rewarding. There is no question that this has been a busy year. Our associates -- from the front lines to senior management -- have worked hard to build Invitation Homes into a vibrant company well-positioned for long-term growth. In addition, tremendous effort was required to get the company ready for our successful public offering. In order to develop our teams, as we develop as our company, we have congratulated over 50 internal promotes this year alone. We agree that demonstrating genuine care to associates is critical and we are dedicated to making Invitation Homes a world-class company in every way. We wish you success in your next endeavor.

Great place to work

Pros

Exciting time to be part of growing company that is helping to create an entire new industry. From my time here, I have seen them take care of associates and focus on creating unique culture. We've had happy hours in the office, done volunteer events where we get paid time to help others, and the company even helps associates with finding new jobs when they transition or centralize roles.

Cons

Not enough hours in the day to do all the great things the leadership has asked. Need some additional resources in some teams.
