Willing to work around personal/life problems when it comes to leave, gave permission to take debt of leave when necessary. Competitive compensation for the area. The company is very nice to their employees and allow them to move vertically or laterally. Government work is strict about hours so there is absolutely no required overtime. Bonuses are sometimes given yearly.

Cons

Large contracts don't really touch each other, so inter-company interaction is not present outside of company events. Requires a secret clearance. Government work can be slow to receive requirements, so sometimes there is a lull in having enough work to do. (this could just be specific to the project I was on).
