Overly cushy, poor lighting inappropriate for CAD work. Work out privilege over rated.
Cons
I made the mistake of calling the company Chinese and they fired me. They are Taiwanese based and I would say that makes them racist toward Chinese. I guess I should have been more careful. I guess they were hyper sensitive. The US based group has very bad technical communications with Taiwan and Shanghai.

Our organization welcomes and values diversity in our company culture. Our commitment to diversity is instilled in our policies and practices and it includes not discriminating against any employee because of national origin. All complaints are investigated under a process. Employees found to have engaged in discriminatory conduct or harassment are subject to immediate disciplinary action, including possible termination of employment.
Product discounts and in house workout facility. Generally allowed to step out for a workout any time of the day.
Cons
Must use pto when sick. Employees are treated like commodities more than people. Most positions are open due to attrition. Misrepresentation of the culture in the interview. Unreasonable travel expectations affect family life balance. Almost no support from management in engineering. Micromanagement on a level I have never experienced before. Management encourages combative relationship with other departments and uses people as pawns for hidden agenda.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Our employees’ satisfaction is important to us, so we value all input we get.
We are glad to hear that you enjoyed our on-site workout facilities, accessible to both you and your family. We agree this is a valuable benefit and an important part of our company culture.
Allow us to clarify our position on your concerns. We are proud to offer a single Paid-Time-Off (PTO) bank for employees which includes an accrual for sick time, vacation and personal time. We believe this approach maximizes flexibility as employees can use paid time off in whatever way needed. In regards to travel, we are a global company and as such some employees have the opportunity to travel both domestically and abroad. We clearly outline travel requirements in our job descriptions and strive to be as transparent about those expectations as possible during the interview process. Finally, we aspire to a culture of open dialogue and feedback to improve the effectiveness of our organization and our employees. We facilitate this ongoing and timely communication through our tri-annual Coaching Check-ins; a program that has been a welcome replacement by employees from the traditional annual review system. It is most successful when an employee is actively engaged in the discussion to help resolve concerns or issues that arise.
Executive management are heartless. They do not care about their employees only the company bottom line. There is absolutely no diversity within this company.
