Great Culture, people, leaders and managers.

Cons

It is very rare a senior position opens up to get promoted, even when they do they already know who is going to get the position. Not enough time off around the Holidays, not even MLK day off.

Thanks for the work you're doing as a Buyer at KeHE. Our Supply Chain department does promote a lot from within, but it can be tough when you feel "passed over" for a promotion into a senior level role. I encourage you to discuss with your Manager and HR Business Partner what steps you may need to take to be considered the next time a position opens up. I sincerely hope you're able to experience the career growth you're seeking while you're still at KeHE and show what you're made of. In the meantime, keep those suppliers happy and inventory levels where they should be! ;)

Thanks for adding your input. Happy to see you highlighted our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) - it's such a huge benefit that removes some of the stress around saving for retirement. I hear you on your last comment...it's tough when you or someone you know gets passed up for another position within the company. I'd like to think our leaders strike a good balance between evaluating not just amount of experience, but also the specific accomplishments towards department or company goals.
