- No focus on what the company does or is. This means a project you pour your heart into will end up going no where, or you will be pulled from project to project. This is, unfortunately, driven from the very top of the organization.
- Very cliquey upper management group, with the culture seemingly derived somewhat from the Patriots organization. Its "do your job" from a from a football perspective, however that doesn't translate into business culture.
- Lots of micromanagement also from the top of the org which causes them to hyper focus on being in the office. There was a group of middle managers trying to infuse a remote culture before COVID, and they were always turned down in their efforts. In fact, KAGR had no intention of going remote until the state forced their hand because of COVID and were attempting a full return to office that first spring and summer before anyone had access to vaccines.
- Pay is far below average, even before 2022 inflation.
