Pros

- Good ratio of new development and maintenance work - Some really talented developers who are happy to share and pass on knowledge - Small Agile teams that are given a good amount of autonomy and freedom - Dedicated Architecture team that ensures we're pushing new/valuable technology and not falling behind - Immediate supervisors understand most but not all issues teams face and seem to genuinely care about the people - People work hard and share common goals. My co-workers seem to be happy coming to work every day. - A strong teamwork and cross-training culture is encouraged and is followed by most teams - Flexible start times - Good work/life balance and very little overtime

Cons

- High-level executives seem out of touch with modern development practices and modern business culture - Benefits are lackluster, especially health insurance for families, but may be made up for by slightly higher salaries - Old school dress code is enforced - Even though we try to push new technologies I think we could do better with improving our technology stack to be more modern. We currently have a .NET WebForms/MVC and Backbone JS stack - Office building could use some work. No windows. - We're a design-oriented lighting and home decor company but if you walk around the office (aside from our break room) you wouldn't know it

Pros

Work from home , work from home, employee discount was good but a hassle to purchase. Work from home not really anything else.

Cons

Poor pay, management is stuck in the 80s, terrible training , stressful high volume calls that don't result in sales. IT sys issues are a daily occurrence. Benefits are terrible you are better off buying health insurance privately.
