Pros

Great company that keeps its employees top of mind. LONG does so many things to help employees and positively impact our experience working here. There is structure in place to help us do our jobs better, but still has the family company feel to it too. Managers and top leaders are very accessible and approachable.

Cons

Because the business units can be so silo'd, there can be different experiences based on who you work for. The individual business units have done a better job over the years with communication between groups and working together, but there is still some opportunity there.

People genuinely like working here and it shows by a host of people who have been here for 10+ years. Real promotion opportunity exists and those who want to grow usually can.

Cons

Vacation time could be better, but the offering is standard for companies in this size range. Business units can sometimes feel segregated.
