Very toxic work culture beneath surface level. All of the directors informed us through a meeting in November that the budget and corporate finances are strong, even giving us a bonus and saying how LLAC is diversifying their portfolio to other states, only for 30% of admin to be laid off after Christmas break. It blind sighted those affected, meanwhile directors never got a pay cut nor was it ever spoken to those in the region. People still employed feel a massive elephant in the room but this company always mentions how everyone is "family" but no one talks about what's really happening. The ones on top make top dollar while working those below by putting too much on their plate with little career growth. Saddened how this organization showed their colors over time. I loved the cause but the lack of transparency during the layoff was unnecessary (for those still employed and feeling many emotions but having to shrug it under the rug)

No salary step, until you ask for a raise and realize there is a salary step schedule that they don't tell you about. More job responsibilities are added to your list with 0 increase in pay or time ability. Leadership is out of touch and never take responsibility for school development issues. They put a lot of stress on teachers and negative messaging when numbers are low and company issues arise.
