Pros

Conservative, stable company with strong presence in construction management in the NYC area.

Cons

Decisions are made at the top with little to no input from the people who have to interface with the customers and do the work. Limited room for growth.

Pros

They try not to lay you off when a project ends. They usually throw you into some Junior position. You still Make the same money anyway.

Cons

There isn’t any opportunity for advancement. Most people are hired as Inspectors and paid a lower rate. You are then marketed to clients with different titles like Superintendent, or Resident Engineer or some other title. They will hire someone from the outside before they advance someone from the inside. Also the quality of the employees is reaching new lows. There are so many people with titles of Engineer that have no clue of what that means or no engineering background. Some were cement truck drivers postal workers even a Barrisata from Starbucks. The company is just to big so everyone just gets lost in the sauce so to speak
