A lot of opportunities in NYC. Good career development. Great people. Not too corporate. Good reputation in the public sector. Growing young professional initiatives.

Cons

No performance reviews. If you are working in a field office, you feel somewhat separate from the organization. Rarely get raises based on performance.

Liro was amazing. Atleast the vdco unit i was part of. We had the latest tech in the bim world at the time. Lidar, matterport, navis scanners, we did similations with unreal engine, and unity. Bim modeling, asbuilts, mep coordination it was amazing but limited after a while is the same cycle and becomes.mundane, i got interested in mep and left to pursue mep experience.

Cons

Liro is cheap. You can get higher salaries else where, they really underpay. But make up for it by having pastries every wednesday morning and ocasional pizza partys on fridays? Nice office with a great view. Feels your so high up feels like purgatory. But i rather have a 6 fl level ragety office job that compemsates me well for my time than a job who looks pretty but underpays their emplyess. This is my opinion i wouldnt change my experience at lire for the world , basically is a good starter job. But not long run geow old into type of job
