The company is run with a "boy's club" type atmosphere where its all about playing favorites with certain crowds. You need to be well liked for advancement and those with skills and experience are not rewarded. Several incompetent managers who try to please everyone and end up with nothing getting done well. If company continues to operate this way, it will force the good employees out as there is no incentive to work hard. Pay is 10-15% under industry standard.

The direction the current executive leader team is taking the company is the wrong path. The leadership team want to build product based on orders rather than forecast. This is all fine and dandy if the company’s suppliers agree, which they don’t ,to hold large quantities of components and act as a super market. Apparently at a supplier symposium that was held, the suppliers did not support the new company vision. There is almost daily conversation between Order Management and the planning group to produce machines but there always seems to be a component shortage and a long lead time to acquire said component(s). This then leads to missing promise dates to customers. The company is also sitting on millionslarge amounts inventory they are having a difficult time moving. This bad inventory is due to the inability of the product management group having a good grasp of what the customer wants. the upcoming 2019 Q1 spin off is hinging on the current executive team’s ability to meet the parent company goals for 2018. If the goals are met, This would send a strong signal to future investors of a stand alone fitness company. Budget planning time is rapidly approaching so the direction should be known fairly soon.
