Pros

Some flexibility in schedule. Paid per patient so you’re able to somewhat adjust how much you make depending on how many patients you want to see.

Cons

Split for NPs is too low and not national standards- you get 52% of what you brought in per patient. They do not supply any computer, IT support, or technology stipend either. Overall low pay for what you are getting. No pto (they falsely advertise this), they “calculate” PTO into your proposed salary but you aren’t salary. So if you take time off you do not get paid which means no “paid time off”. High turnover rates with support staff so you’re left doing much of the administrative tasks alone.

Pros

- Paid ahead of insurance reimbursement

Cons

- low employee morale - company values statements are a sham - PR campaign is extremely misleading, do not be fooled. Lifestance does not care about employees or patients beyond profit - employee trust of management is lowest of anywhere I’ve worked (in or outside of mental health) - little to no transparency regarding business decisions - recent compsensation pay structure entirely removed transparency for the sake of profit - poor planning and chaos have reigned supreme since the acquisition of Western Psych a few years ago. I shudder when I think of what we have endured along the way

Pros

I am able to work a flexible schedule from home or the office.

Cons

Although Lifestance keeps 40% of my reimbursement, they are woefully understaffed. Therefore, I am "paying" for support that I do not receive. In addition, there is no on-call service for emergencies or services, a referral system to elevate level of care, or even social services. I realize it is a for-profit company, but Lifestance overlooks/ignores basic services for the their clients and providers.
