Pros

Company culture exceeds what I’ve experienced in the past. The management team is very understanding if I’m sick or have appointment. Love that even while everyone is working remote, there’s a lot of focus on bringing everyone together through events or meetings. I greatly appreciate the ability to work remote as well. It helps a great deal to save money on gas, get things done around the house, and feel comfortable using my own bathroom and space without the pressure of being social.

Cons

The pay structure is absolutely terrible. For transparency, Paid Search Specialists and Account Managers make 40k which is nowhere near enough what we should be getting paid. We are overworked for what we do and it’s not worth the stress. There are many positions outside the company that pay at least 60k and there’s no excuse we shouldn’t be meeting that. The tiers to move up is atrocious too. A 5k increase is a joke if it means more responsibility for supervising or reviewing builds. I was extremely disappointed to see what the new structure looked like when it was sent out since Team Leads shouldn’t be getting paid what they do now either. They do a fantastic job and I was under the impression they were getting paid at least 70k for all the work they do. It’s unacceptable. I’m also unimpressed with the time off we receive if we get Covid. Three days off is not enough especially if severe symptoms occur. The company needs to do more overall with compensation and helping their employees out since we are still in a pandemic. It’s easy to tell where their priorities are if there’s an air of pressure being felt but no one is afraid to see anything. That’s why employees leave. Which I am currently in the process of doing by looking for better pay structure elsewhere.

Thank you for your thoughts. We're happy to hear that enjoyed the culture and flexibility our work-from-home option offers. The work/life balance of our employees is extremely important to us and we're glad it's being felt. Our pay structure is progressive based on the work you take on. We have a very extensive training program that requires no prior industry experience. PSSs in their first year average anywhere from 50 to 55k in total compensation. After the first year, we see total compensation go up as high as 80K, so the opportunity to earn more is there for the employees that want to work for it. The Team Lead compensation you have is inaccurate and every TL makes well above that figure. We make changes to our bonus model every year to ensure employees are earning more and to stay competitive with the industry. We appreciate your feedback and will take this into consideration as we continue to roll out changes for the rest of the year. Thank you for everything you do! -SMB Leadership

We're glad you enjoyed the culture at LP as it's certainly something we're proud of. It's been cultivated over the years by our people, starting with management. Good luck moving forward. -Sales Leadership
