Pros

- The company is world class, the owners legitimately care about the wellbeing of the employees. - The products/services that LP provides are TOP TIER. - The transparency of this company is unlike any other you will find in Digital Marketing. - In this sales role you get a weeks worth of quality training and will become Google Ads certified. - SO much opportunity for growth. - Work from home. - Managers actually take time to help you. - Competitive but mostly collaborative sales environment, the best I've ever seen. - You can make a lot of money if you put in the work.

Cons

- I had lots of experience in Digital Marketing before I took this job so if you are new to this industry you might find the learning curve to be pretty steep but there's so much content to learn from. -This is not a "Con", more of a note for those looking at Cons: This is a sales job where you cold call people. Its not for everyone but its also not taxing at all because the services LP sells make it very very easy.

We're glad to hear the flexibility of remote work and the work/life balance we offer were positives for you and are sorry to hear things didn't work out. While our consistent meeting schedule, ongoing trainings, and freedom to prospect autonomously have led to sustained success for many on our team, we realize that sales may not be for everyone. We wish you the best of luck in the future and thank you again for your feedback. -Sales Leadership Team

Pros

Management is great the people who were on my team were great people. I enjoyed their positivity. I believe inside jobs are much better than working on the sales team. I really wish they would stop misleading marketing professionals by saying this is marketing because this is bottom-of-the-barrel marketing and it is insulting to those with real marketing backgrounds, not cold sales.

Cons

This is not marketing it’s basically door to door sales from home. You are not provided with leads you have to prospect all your own leads. If you can do this successfully which people have done you’ll do great and you’ll make great money. If you have a marketing background such as setting up ppc/social media development etc anything marketing this job isn’t that.. it’s kinda like the vector knives lol. You are expected to get key people on the phone and then sell to them which is doable but if you notice the people who are good at this have been with the company for years. YES they have exceptions to this however, it’s a lot of work for the base pay and it’s extremely boring. Every day having to come up with 50 new people to call. It doesn’t seem like a lot but you also have to stick within guidelines of who your calling, so you run into A LOT of restricted industries and leads are picked through like crazy. My entire training group was gone by the end of my PIP and the class the week after me was pretty much in the same boat as far as links and sales. The whole structure is very 2012 and even with the digital space always growing better strategies for getting leads should be implemented. I think it should be more of a team effort rather then sales people who have been with the company since before covid making the deals - they also are the ones who have the grace periods to make these deals because they are meeting quota or "P Club" with leads they have had for an extended period of time.

Thank you for your feedback. We love hearing that your management team was positive and helpful and that you liked LP as a company. It sounds like the "Digital Marketing Inside Sales" role you accepted just wasn't a good fit. The expectations of this role are presented very clearly throughout the entirety of the onboarding and employment process, and the upside is certainly there for those who succeed. We hope the knowledge you gained as a member of our team helps you in your next position. Thank you again and good luck. -Sales Leadership Team
