      MOCA is a one-dimensional firm heavily dependent on gimmicky software and government contracts.

      Pros

      1. Has great relationships with DOD that provide a fairly steady stream of vertical-build projects. 2. Non-executive staff is very well qualified and very professional.

      Cons

      1. CEO is openly abusive of management and staff, often deriding in public. 2. Executives have little understanding of any markets other than government-related vertical build projects. 3. CEO seems to believe that he knows all things about all subjects, and openly questions the knowledge of those who are acknowledged experts in their fields and industries. 4. Accounting practices aggressively inhibit business development activities and are generally used to punish regional managers for not meeting unrealistic goals. 5. Turnover of management and staff is extremely high and rapid. 6. Working conditions are extremely stressful on all employees, and many current employees are looking for some way out so they can have a reasonable balance of their personal and professional lives.

      Pros

      Good projects that look good on your resume. I met my current employer through my work at MOCA. There are some really talented people propping up the fat at the top.

      Cons

      Management cares about the bottom line, and crushing your soul. I mean they really really do care. it's all about the bottom line, (and crushing your soul). For the most part I can only reiterate and agree with everything that has already been said in other reviews. You really don't want to leave a job your even remotely happy with to go here. Chances are you will regret it.

      Pros

      Outstanding management and leadership team. They are really thought leaders in the industry and our clients seem to respect them. They work well with employees and care about doing the right thing. Everyone I know in the company is honest and hard working. The company takes risks with new capabilities. It's an excellent company. Management does an annual review of employees and takes action on any issues. I like the approach by management and the way they really care about clients and employees.

      Cons

      Because the company takes risks and tackles some of the toughest challenges, we sometimes fail to get the progress we hoped for. So we seem to change based on what efforts prove to be successful and what efforts aren't working. But change isn't always a bad thing... I read some of the reviews, and it appears there are a few really frustrated people who were let go by management. This is definitely only a few people. I wish they would stop blaming management for their own problems and bad attitudes, and move on. Most people at MOCA really like the company and the work.
