Pros

Being able to work remotely. Some people were nice.

Cons

They fired me and one other girl with zero notice due to rearranging of job roles. They could have given us notice, as I'm pretty sure they were training others to take our jobs well before they let us know. I feel inclined to leave this review as to warn anyone considering working for this company. Shortly after being let go, they had the nerve to give me a poor rating on Upwork. The rating is inaccurate, dishonest, and vindictive. They rated me 3/5 on everything.. deadlines, quality, skills, availability, communication, cooperation. I was meticulous about completing my daily tasks, so the deadlines rating is false. Cooperation and communication? I would answer slack messages throughout the day, even when not working, and attended meetings planned at the last minute. I regularly communicated with all APM's and responded to all emails and slack messages, unlike some of there APMs. Quality? They had me describing rentals that I often had very little (and sometimes incorrect) information about, but I would still do my best. In addition to this, there were quite a few things that bothered me while working for them (enough that I had already started looking for a new job). -I was promised a raise every 6 months AND that "you can make a lot of money at this company", when I was hired. I got one raise in 10 months. When I brought it up to the same manager, he said they don't do raises like that... -Super disorganized. No one knows who does what. The backend system is chaotic and actually just got worse rather than improving. -Indirect communication style. I have never worked with people like this who won't just say what they mean to your face. I had a bad feeling even when I started because my manager talked poorly about a previous employee. -Many people LEFT the company including a key manager. -I was expected to work overtime when I first started, even though we initially agreed to 30 hours. -Overall, I felt uneasy working for this company. If you want something stable, this isn't it. -Overall, negative work culture from my experiences.

GASLIGHTING

Pros

Made some great friends with co workers through work trauma bonding. Medical benefits were good. WFH is always nice. PTO was a joke as it was "unlimited" yet they don't let you take a day off without finding your OWN coverage.

Cons

I worked at Mynd for 1.5 years and have never experienced a more toxic and chaotic work environment in my 11+ years in the industry. Upper management was always changing and no one in the higher held positions had any leverage or say in anything. Everything was dictated by one person who had no day to day contact with employees and was completely unaware of what was really going on. The "bonus" structure changed every single quarter and each quarter they made It more and more unobtainable. Instead of telling us they were broke, they would make up bonus metrics that were not even close to realistic. When managers spoke up about the metrics and data not even pulling correctly due to many nuances, they were silenced. Too many layoffs in my short time to count, and every time they would immediately just add more to other employees workload for no additional pay, or fill those positions with current employees from other departments with no experience. In the last layoff that I was a part of a few weeks ago, a yahoo business article had come out confirming that our company was merging with another. The CEO then only decided to tell us all AFTER that there was going to be a merger but nothing was finalized and not to worry. Two days later, 60 people were let go. The number of legal matters against this company from tenants and investors is concerning. Business practices are shady and most departments don't even know the laws in place in each county/state that they are working in. The workload was entirely too much for one person to handle. It was considered normal to work long overtime hours just to be able to get the bare minimum completed. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company. The lack of pay, stress, lies and gaslighting are not worth it. You can find somewhere that cares about your well being as an employee and this is not the place.

Pros

Remote work, good people in middle management, salary and benefits were market rate (although barely any raises or promos in the last year)

Cons

-Senior management is not in tune with the work that’s actually being done day to day; continuous layoffs that disrupt everything (5 or 6 in the last 3 years) -Layoffs not only create an unstable environment, but there’s NO resources to get anything done -CEO is incredibly out of touch; sends videos from vacations and second house meanwhile they continue to make cuts in investing in employees (also important to note: never has c suite offered to forego bonuses to help keep team members) -Claim to care about residents but really only seem to care about investors so it creates a weird dynamic with the product
