Pros

Training is great and you learn how to sell their product

Cons

Commission. Even when you bring your own clients, it’s not even up to industry standards. Their gimmick worked six months the ago and doesn’t anymore. When you’re waiting on a sales commission after 30 days the 18% split just isn’t worth it. Also huddles are mandatory twice a week on zoom. As an independent person contractor, I shouldn’t have to be mandated to do anything. You are made to feel inadequate if you don’t get “listing”. They send you out to homes where the people are clearly not looking to sell and wasting your time and gas. I’d be happy to give more if I was getting more but I just feel like giving my 18%

Thanks for the feedback! We are a high-performance sales team that is not for everyone. For MSRE, we look for continuous improvement so I would encourage you to reach out to the training team or your Director of Sales. They will be happy to provide coaching, shadow you on some appointments, and generally do whatever they can to help you convert more opportunities to help our clients. -- John Makarewicz

Don’t do it

Pros

Lots of appointments but Appointments are mostly represented people who want information or people who want information but don’t want to list

Cons

Good appointments go to the people who have been there the longest. Favoritism. Pay sucks you might make $50” for selling one house and all the work is on the listing agent. Micromanage and like to book things on your schedule like you are a 9-5 employee

Pros

Friendships: Training- really can’t say much more..

Cons

Pay- your split is sad. You have to sell 5 to 6 homes a month to maintain a steady salary...still hardly making it. The seller leads are mainly Guaranteed offer- which is a JOKE. They do not care about the small people. Mark Spain and upper management are the only ones getting rich. Don’t believe their sales pitch. My personal life has took a big hit.

We are sorry to hear about your experience! While we have many agents achieving their income goals at a high level, we are certainly not for everyone. Mark Spain Real Estate's turnover is far below other real estate or sales organizations. Our commitment to the team is to always grow and improve which is why we invest so heavily in our people through leadership training, leads, and administrative support. John Makarewicz
