Pros

MedBridge has opened doors of opportunity to me that I don't feel I would receive at other companies. As a young professional, I have been given more responsibility and have grown more in my career than my peers at other companies. I have personally seen great career growth and always feel that my voice is heard. MedBridge offers a competitive salary/benefits package. They just announced that there will be even more benefits benefits rolling out next month, like a 401k plan and a personal career development program. Day to day, I get to work with a young and energetic group of people and the company sponsors a number of events throughout the year to encourage team building and camaraderie. This is a great place to work if you want to be part of a collaborative, hardworking team where you will be challenged daily by the work in front of you. The company is young with an extremely talented team and I am excited to be a part of, and grow with, an incredibly successful company for many years to come.

Cons

It’s a fast pace environment and expectations are high, so it’s not for everyone. We’re in one of the strongest job markets here in Seattle, so people here have their choice, but if you enjoy rolling up your sleeves on meaningful work, you’ll have an amazing experience.

Pros

I've have been working here for almost a year now, and it’s been great so far. It’s a fast-moving company with a lot of smart, passionate people. The company holds Monday and Friday company-wide meetings which provides a good idea of what other teams are working on.

Cons

The business has grown quickly, and is still developing company-wide processes to deal with this growth.

Is MedBridge the perfect fit for you?

Pros

The three most important things to me in a company that I work for are: 1. I am passionate about (and believe in) the product/vision of the company 2. I am challenged in my role and have an opportunity for growth personally and professionally 3. I enjoy the people I work with and the culture of the company MedBridge has exceeded my expectations for all three. From clicking on an ad on Indeed (knowing nothing about the company) to where I am today a year later, my appreciation and passion for the product, company, and team has grown tremendously. In only a year, I have seen exponential growth in the all areas of the business - from quality of the product, to benefits for the team, etc. I have seen the team move offices to support the current team that has doubled in size and a company that has more than doubled our product offerings. I have seen the management implement a fun committee (to plan happy hours, community service, ski trips, running groups, book clubs, office snacks, etc.), a 401k plan, health insurance, and professional development (PTO and stipend). And I have seen a company grow together finding their core values of: passion, quality, collaboration, and resourcefulness.

Cons

Just because MedBridge is the perfect fit for me does not mean it is for everyone. The same core values of the company I mentioned above may not ring true to you. Resourcefulness: MedBridge is a start up. That means you won't have all the answers in front of you and you'll need to “google it” or attend webinars and read books. If this is not your jam it is probably not the right company for you. Collaboration: Although I love our open office space, it may not be the best work environment for all people. It fosters much more open communication and if you do not like being distracted from your work it may not be the best fit for you. Passion and Quality: At MedBridge we move pretty quickly and there is a lot on our plates. MedBridge isn’t a 9-5 job, for most employees it is a way of life. You won't be bored, twirling your thumbs, wondering what to do. Personally I love this, but I know many people may not.
