Pros

Working at MedBridge is a treat every day. I work closely with the design, development, and product management. These are the brightest individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They truly care about the products being built. The products that we build are incredible. From the original vision of continuing education, the CEO instilled the importance of quality, a trait that is present in the product today. The products we build help people, from patients who want to be more engaged in their rehabilitation to clinicians trying to learn the best techniques to treat their patients. One of the biggest rewards is being able to talk with the individuals using our products, and to watch utilization increase and evolve with their feedback. We have an incredible amount of freedom to explore solutions. No one dictates product development designs, architecture, or implementation. Instead the development teams find the best solution to fix a problem or build a product. This leads to creative solutions and projects people care about accomplishing. MedBridge has steadily been adding additional benefits: matching 401k, dental/vision/health insurance, flexible hours, competitive salaries. We also have frequent fun work events like: ski trips, pub crawls, holiday parties, office board games, and a tough mudder team.

Cons

With the excitement of moving fast and creating products customers love comes high expectations. This can sometimes be a bit overwhelming, but management has been very supportive with the growth and expectations. If you like fast-paced environments this is the place for you.

Pros

In 2015, we just hit 50 people and continuing to grow, so there are ample opportunities for growth within the company. Start with 2 weeks of vacation and get 3 more every year for a maximum of 4 weeks. Startup mindset: room to voice opinions and ideas - everyone has a voice. Beer o'clock Friday afternoon meetings. Ultimate goal is helping people by improving outcomes, so great work satisfaction. Lots of work variety and opportunity to learn additional disciplines.

Cons

Only 7 paid holidays per year.

Pros

Remote work Kind and supportive coworkers Flexible schedule for appointments/emergencies/etc

Cons

Consistently promised higher compensation 'if you just keep pushing' and doing work outside of your role, but miniscule raises regardless of the effort put in or time at the company. Recently received my highest rated performance review which acknowledged multiple projects outside my role, and was given the lowest compensation adjustment I've had since working here. 4 years with the company, 2+ years in a leadership position, and I'm not even making the median salary for a non-leadership position of my role. There are consistent excuses about why the company can't provide compensation that matches the market value for current employees despite always hiring for positions. During company events it's always about how great everything is going, yet when it's time for raises it's always "a difficult time right now"
