Pros

Some genuinely hardworking, dedicated people in the field. Fast promotions if you’re willing to take on overwhelming responsibilities with little support. Opportunities to learn operations quickly — mostly because you have to in order to survive.

Cons

Extremely unstable leadership. The CEO makes impulsive, emotionally charged decisions that change direction daily. Authoritarian culture. Feedback is not welcomed; questioning broken processes is treated as disloyalty. No consistent strategy. Priorities shift constantly based on leadership mood rather than business needs. High churn and burnout. Employees leave faster than they can be replaced, and the root causes are ignored. Poor communication from corporate. Field teams receive conflicting instructions and last-minute demands. Operations are chaotic. New store openings are rushed, maintenance issues stack up, and decisions are made without understanding the field. Vendors often misdiagnose equipment issues, leading to tens of thousands in wasted repair costs. No accountability at the top. Accountability exists only for field-level employees, never for corporate leadership. Culture does not match the branding. “People-first” is a slogan — the lived experience is stress, instability, and constant damage control. Constant fear environment. Promotions and jobs feel dependent on whether leadership likes you on any given day. Work-life balance is nonexistent. Field leaders constantly put out fires created by poor high-level decisions. Policies and expectations change weekly, making consistent performance nearly impossible. Lack of operational understanding at corporate creates unrealistic demands and contradictory metrics.

Pros

The job itself is not hard. Actually quite easy if you have half a brain.

Cons

Karen Hutton(Owner) is driving the place into the ground. Talks down to people and is so disconnected she thinks taking away commission and bonus’ makes it ok to dump more money into useless programs and new features that cost in the millions. Most GMs haven’t seen a raise in literal years.
