Pros

Fun at store level. You help kids learn to enjoy music.

Cons

Upper management tends to be drunk with power. They don't help people - they just fire them.

Talking to families about music is super awesome! Completely agree!! Your advice to management is well put - we can always do more to inspire one another and we'll work on this and share your comments.

Pros

You work on your own most of the time. You can learn a lot of things about how NOT to treat employees.

Cons

The company only cares about opening new stores. They’ll announce pay cuts one day because they’re tight on money then celebrate opening a new store, at the cost of millions of dollars, the next day.

I am sorry you had a bad experience with us. We have had huge growth this year and a lot of store openings which has resulted in some growing pains however we have not had any pay cuts within Music & Arts. The position of educational sales representative is a very independent position that our associates either love or hate. Thanks for the feedback and we will strive to do better to support our associates!

Pros

Students and teachers were wonderful.

Cons

Horrible computer system that constantly crashed and left customers angry. We were helpless as sales people to fix their problems and that left very angry customers. The leadership (upper management) in my district was awful. They did not care about issues with employees and they lied to get me to move to a new city with the promise of management. Turned out there was NO management position. One manager was sexually harassed by another and upper management knew and did nothing, and put that manager in the awkward position of being around the harrassing manager constantly. The told her she was being dramatic. So glad to be away from those people.
