Pros

I loved the clients and I loved helping people go towards their goals! I loved the clients period!!! That is really all...

Cons

Unorganized, changed rules all the time including the commission so never know what's going to come next. Make new rules and then not hold anyone accountable .. Definitely all over the place

Pros

there are some customers who come in with genuine health problems and you are able to help some with diet and moral support. If you are a college student and need to be fed it's a good gig.

Cons

There are corporate officers that have to justify their salary so they make reports that the store managers have to do that someone at corporate already does. No kidding 90% of the info is done automatically at corporate. Start looking at how bloated you are at the top. They want everyone on the operational side to justify their salary and have even moved many of the new Nutritional Coaches to a salary + commission. The company has been mismanaged by its executives( there are new ones every year) and that has spilled over to some of the district managers. Also if you only like to hire "yes men" as managers no one is going to talk you off of the ledge that you are continually running up to. Also how the company has gone about closing it's kitchens is underhanded and borderline unethical with little regard to employees who rarely say no and do very well considering they take direction from corporate. The direction that they are going is to aquire as many assets as possible and sell. I'm sure that the investment company is tired of this company's continued failure. Also not sure how you continue to be considered "healthy" when you are just opening up cans of vegetables and frozen bags of cooked protein.

Pros

The only pros I can think of was the 50% discount on food. Conceptually it seems great, but the company lacks the ability to fulfill the needs of both their customers as well as their employees.

Cons

Corporate really could care less about making things work for the individual stores. There is little to no communication or organization when implementing changes. The last year has been a steady trend of a decrease in overall quality, and no one seems to care. On a conference call one nutrition coach inquired about the increase in gluten to our supposedly "gluten-free" company and she was told something along the lines of "if you don't like the direction this company is headed, perhaps you should find another job". There are consistently issues with ordering food and having it arrive to the store properly, which ultimately results in dissatisfied customers. Just last month they shut down one of only two kitchens responsible for providing food to 10 locations. Needless to say since then we've lost a vast majority of our customers since there is ZERO food on the shelves. Additionally, safety is not a priority for the company. There is never more than one staff allowed to work a closing shift -- which involves counting money and walking across a dimly lit parking lot to take out the trash.
