Pros

The concept of this organization is one that is going to be reproduced time and time again by competitors, which is the sign of a great product and a brand that was platformed well at its inception. The customers who shop here are typically very happy because they're eating the right foods, feeling better, and being more active throughout the process.

Cons

There is no streamlining of communication in a cascade format. There is a weekly communication document that comes out and highlights some things the organization is focusing on but the District Manager doesn't take the time to read it so there is no accountability at a store to store level.

Pros

50% discount on food. That's about it. There's really not much good to say about how they run their business. I really do wish them the best because I love the idea behind what they're doing.

Cons

It boils down to the senior management. The idea behind the company is great. Unfortunately you had gym guys who were given millions of investment dollars and somehow you expected them to build a profitable restaurant/food service business out of it. I have never really heard of many start-ups that get a big investment and get to keep operational control, but for some reason that's what happened at My Fit Foods. The money was spent about as well as a fat kid with a $20 in a candy store. And after all that you are not able to stand on your own. Changes have been made, but it's my opinion it's too little too late. You gave your competitor time to catch up. So now you not only have to deal with systemic problems that come with poorly planned growth, but you now also have a growing competitor.

Pros

-50% off prepared meals -25% off supplements (originally 50% off until corporate leadership felt profit margins weren't high enough) -Fun crew to work with in store -Tend to be able to network with customers for better employment opportunities. ...and that's about it

Cons

Where to begin. -No concept of work life balance for the GM/NC roles. Unless you work in California which is a market that pretty much does what they want. Expected to be on call 24/7 for laughable salary. -Fanatic position is a complete sales role yet lacks any type of sales compensation. It's not a livable wage. Upper management can't get through their head why strong sales team members leave for better opportunities. -Complete lack of employee value. Field team and leadership are seen as easily expendable by District Management and the Corporate Managers. -When field team or field managers speak up or question motives it's usually met w/ District Management trying to weed you out going forward. They don't understand constructive criticism. -District management and Corporate Managers have a "I gotcha ya" mentality. -Most un inspirational group of individuals leading our corporate headquarters. Looking for quick fixes to our overall financial health to quickly sell and off load this sinking ship to the next unfortunate soul.
