Pros

i have been working for a while in Netscout after merger of Fluke Networks/ Danaher. There is reasonable compensation on a whole.

Cons

- Due to merger, some senior technical personnel tends to keep what they know in case they might lose their job. Little sharing of knowledge. - Management does not like to hear feedback & though they portray they will readily listen. They will "prata" around what they say as this is an Indian company . - Be careful to check your last paycheck as the salary credited may be shortchanged. - Few formal proper training.

- Good work/life balance - Good benefits - Great people to work with - Products are cutting edge and very few others are providing solutions like NetScout does

Cons

- Salary is a bit too low for the bay area location due to high cost of living - Management hasn't proven yet they are committed to the Berkeley office

Pros

Flexible hours, reasonable pay, engineers are quite smart and capable.

Cons

No raises for years, Customer Support and Sales management has a clear "shut up and do your work" approach and does not tolerate any suggestions. Often 6+ months of not hearing from manager, then get blasted for something that the manager is uninformed about and heard through rumors.
