Pay Could be a little better

The support work in Pune does not require CCNP or PMP but still expect such candidates to join their teams. The support profiles in premium team and primary support team are technical support profiles and do not need CCNP or PMP . Most of the guys in premium support team are all talk and have no knowledge at all. The HR is a mere rubber stamp and has no authority.Ruin your career technical support profiles if you join after having CCNP or PMP.Lickers grow in the company be in primary or premium support teams.There is no value for hardworking and dedicated people in the support team. No defined career path at all. The company wants to grow but there is no growth path for support employees. They can fire you at any time . They might ask to do weekend pager( Saturday and Sunday ) for which they don''t pay much and you cannot say no.Personnel life gets ruined. Candidates should request an office tour before confirming to the company so that you can talk to current employees one to one and then take an informed decision. Only CCNA and RHCE certification cost is reimbursed and not tuition fee. CCNP,ITIL,PMP certification cost is not reimbursed even though they expect such candidates to join them(preferred). All the guys working in the Pune support teams have not configured a switchport or vlan or ip address in their experience in this office in the last 5 years but still need CCNP !!!

I feel as though management, particularly at the executive level, could use to get more involved in the employees in the organization.

Confused company after major acquisitions. Products overlap and they are killing the products that were not developed by the original NETSCOUT.

Too many hours, seems to be part of the culture. Work and life balance can be at risk.

There really isn't much of a career path if you don't want to be an Account Manager, and the company is very tight with stock grants. This may be mostly a reflection of the size (2013 Q2 Market cap of 1B, 350M rev, 1k employees). One employee mentioned politics and I don't disagree, I've seen it. It would be best if a small number of long term managers moved on, but in my role and location I'm largely unaffected.

Once in a position it is extremely hard to change jobs. Management doesn't listen to ideas on how to make products better from its employees.
