Mismanaged at every level starting at the very top. Poor culture driven by profits and enrollment. Those in power are out of touch with what learning actually means. They throw words around like student learning and student success to justify their agendas which is to bring in anyone with a pulse and to keep them there even if it means bending the academic honesty policy. Every negative comment in the reviews align with my experiences. There is a strong facade to the university bolstered by its rich history, but when you've seen what goes on at the top and witnessed how those attitudes trickle down, it's clear that NLU has become a Nivine machine pumping students through like cattle.

- low pay and unethical, unequal payment practices. - mid management is fleeing at an alarming rate due to a lack of appreciation - very little career opportunities for mid-management, even when you have the skills to advance the organization. - conspiracy among some staff and often people who end up backstabbing you. - resentfulness of people who leave.
