Pros

Unfortunately I think some people have used this platform to try and smear an incredible organization based on individual one-off frustrations. I have seen this organization change the lives of countless individuals for the better, including my own. This is a company where hard work pays off and success is definitely attainable. I joined the organization in an entry-level position and have been given ample opportunity to grow even when the more logical move may have been for them to go and hire someone externally with more experience. Culture of promoting from within Great product Leadership that cares Attainable goals - well over 50% of sales team hits annual targets every year and all who hit are invited to President's Club incentive. Aggressive pay

Cons

The company has grown rapidly over the last few years and with that, there have naturally been growing pains, especially in finance and HR, but overall a great place to work.

Stories like yours—of starting in an entry-level role and growing into new challenges—are what we strive for as we continue to build a culture that rewards hard work and promotes from within. We also appreciate your acknowledgment of the growing pains that come with rapid expansion, particularly in areas like Finance and HR. Pros

NetDocuments can be a career accelerator for the right person. Unlike some companies that try to keep you in a box, NetDocuments is willing to invest in people that demonstrate a track record of success. If you see a problem you want to solve and show that you can handle it, you'll be given the opportunity. The company has experienced extremely healthy YoY growth for the last decade. Our stability in the tech industry despite economic headwinds is something that's easy to take for granted (until you see other prominent tech companies announcing layoff after layoff). Legal tech may not be the sexiest product, but our market opportunities are more stable than almost any other sector. We're making a significant investment in AI that's real and provides a ton of value to customers, unlike a lot of slideware on the market. Consequently, new functions and roles are created every year. NetDocuments can be a 10+ year career with the same growth potential as jumping to 4 companies in the same time. Work-life balance is generally pretty good, even for the hungry employees who go above and beyond. Great hybrid flexibility, free lunch 2x per week, decent benefits. Overall, the career opportunities provided by NetDocuments make up for any challenges listed below. The great leaders seem invested in improving company morale and culture, so I am hopeful that the company's stickier points will diminish over time.

Cons

Senior leadership doesn't share a strong consistent culture. Some leaders are the best I've ever worked with in my career, while others can be narrow-minded or abrasive. Some leaders are heavily invested in their employees' professional development, while others have to be prodded for feedback. Unfortunately, this can dramatically change your experience depending on where you land at NetDocuments. On the flip side, the great leaders are often happy to mentor employees outside their chain of command, which can make up for some of the lackluster leadership.

We also appreciate your honest input on areas for improvement. We recognize the impact leadership consistency has on employee experience and are actively working to build greater alignment and support across teams. Your comments on inclusion and engaging frontline voices are particularly meaningful—we’re continuing to expand efforts in both areas and your perspective reinforces their importance.
