Pros

Steady paycheck with great benefits. Unparalleled training opportunities. Technologies are current.

Cons

Racist from the top level executive to admin staff. Due to the lack of diversity in senior management, Netsmart is tone deaf when it comes to handling complaints or discrimination within it's walls. The company is based on foundation of mental health support but when called to the task of showing support to its employees it fails. Every time.

Pros

Relaxed dress code is nice.

Cons

Read a few pages of these reviews and you will get the idea. Obvious fake reviews are written by management and refer to "fast paced environment" and "not good for everyone" to help whitewash the perspective. After working over 5 years, saw overall compensation drop every year in spite of better "raises" than many people received. Being a leading person in your department doesn't mean anything. Knowledge was extremely siloed, meaning everytime someone leaves the company, someone else is about to get dumped on because they have to learn it all. If you are not in Overland Park, you are trash, no company culture. I have never seen such a small corporation have so many C-class executives and Vice presidents, extremely top heavy management. People you work with are good people, including lower management, just don't look to upper management for any help. Made many friends in other departments, just never got to work with them after Netsmart bought our company. Netsmarts only way to gain customer base is buying smaller software companies and hoping they retain some of the customer base.

Pros

-A lot of food events -Good location in Overland Park -Awesome Marketing Team If you like to be stressed everyday at work then it's a good company for you.

Cons

Netsmart overworks their employees just like Cerner. All the bad performing Executives from Cerner are coming to Netsmart and make it worse. Too many VP , Directors & Managers for a company of that size . It's almost confusing and it's making the leadership style poor and so weak. Current employees need to search 'VP or Director' in their Skype directory to realize how huge is the list for such a small company. They get the big commission check while actual people doing the work are not being rewarded. The ethic level at Netsmart is low ;Most employees play politic to be seen well in the eyes of management or to be promoted. Management is not opened to changes and keep buying small broken down companies. Employees are afraid to denounce bad practices as it doesn't align with the company's management style. Executives from Cerner are making all of their Cerner friends coming along to mess things up.
