Very sorry to hear that you feel that way. We are always very clear about the compensation plans for our employees. Our base rates of pay are above industry averages and the commission/bonus structures which we have made part of not just sales, but of the service team, make our positions quite rewarding. In terms of career advancement, we have a Chief Product Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Executive Directors of both Operations and Client Services, and many other managers and directors who would disagree.

Pros

I worked for OMG National for almost two months. The job involved calling past leads who had at one point requested information about digital marketing for their business. The job itself was easy, as most people either hung up or didn’t answer their phones. Everyone at the company seemed friendly and helpful enough, and I enjoyed the job (despite the low hourly pay). I saw myself working here long term and was excited to continue my employment with them. We had paid holidays, could take breaks throughout the day if needed, and they were pretty flexible on our work schedules.

Cons

I was fired in the middle of the day without warning. I was not pulled aside and coached on my performance or offered ways I could improve my transfer rate. They claimed I didn’t get the minimum number of transfers the week before (we had a holiday and only worked four days that week, and I in fact did meet the minimum number of transfers for a four-day work week). I was given a two dollar raise just days before I was fired. They fired me early in the day without letting me finish when I had interested prospects who could have been potentially transferred. I felt the way this was handled was totally unprofessional. And I was fired over a phone call...they didn't even have the courage to have a conference or video call me. Had I known something like this would happen, I would have accepted employment with another company who was wanting to hire me. I feel like there is no real sense of job security, and employees are expendable (they went through nine other employees on our team and just hired three more in the two months I was there).

We've been in business since 1990 and despite what it always feels like to be let go, our company and all our managers take it VERY seriously. Both the hiring and when we do have to terminate a team member's employment are always handled with the level of concern and importance that these important considerations deserve. If at anytime someone is terminated, you can be guaranteed that either it was fully warranted based on a situation, or because we truly did not feel as though (with 3 decades of experience behind us) that that team member could have had the success that both they and the company deserve. We truly wish you success in the future.
