Pros

The ability to work remotely. Honestly, that's the only pro of this job.

Cons

*Every call is an aggressive credit card grab. You are taught that from day one. *OMG does not remove anyone from their call lists. They will continue to call & call again. I think that's breaking FCC regulations. Don't dare point that out or question. You'll be gone within a day! *This is a lead generation company that doesn't provide decent leads to their own sales team. Chew on that for a minute. *My trainer came to work drunk and slurring. Nothing was done about it because he was meeting his quotas. *Every sale is posted in a Slack group. I'm not sure why they feel the need to celebrate every sale. There are some very big egos and arrogance. *OMG is constantly hiring because they are constantly firing. The average length of employment is short and the retention rate is low. YOU ARE A NUMBER AND ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR LAST SALE *The management teams listen to calls and micromanage *It's just a dirty place to work. Soul sucking. High pressure.

Our BDM position is a full-time, remote sales position. The role is primarily focused on driving new business to the company. Our BDM's are constantly prospecting, contacting a wide variety of small business owners who have expressed interest in internet marketing. Our BDM's do celebrate their wins with the team, though it is not about ego, but about collaboration, further training and sparking a conversation centered around doing what is best for our clients. It sounds as if you are in need of some love, care and attention. Should you wish to discuss specific suggestions, we are always ready to listen. We do require that our BDM's meet certain requirements that demonstrate the effort that we know is necessary for success, and eventually a quota. The position is not for everyone, but is far and above the most lucrative opportunity we offer. We have more BDM's earning six-figure+ incomes than we have ever had in our 34-year history, so if you are reading this and want a new challenge in a growing profession, apply today!

Pros

A pro is that they let you work remotely Another pro is that they all were professional Also, the concept of residuals is great. Lastly, I was able to learn a lot about digital marketing which is cool and a skill I didn't have prior to working here.

Cons

I don't believe it's necessary to outline everything here. The last day of my employment consisted of nearly 80 calls and a shocking amount was to phone numbers that were disconnected/not in service/dial tone. This isn't completely their fault as bad data is bad data. One thing I really didn't like was that there would be notes on customer records stating that they asked not to be called or to be removed from the list and their records would be recycled and called again and that was the M.O. on those situations. It's easy to talk poorly and like I said they were professional about the role and everything. Hindsight is, I saw the signs before starting.

We appreciate the feedback and wish you a successful future! Our BDM role requires a handful of raw ingredients for success. While phone time is one obvious factor which is necessary for success, our BDM's are ultimately responsible for bringing viable prospects to the table. We do provide leads, some are brand new and others are those who expressed an interest but were unreachable, and then reengaged with our marketing efforts. We do work hard at providing a professional environment, having fun and generating the highest quality leads for our sales team, yet ultimately, our BDM's must innovate and draw on their own skillset, network and creative abilities to bring new clients into the company. Thank you for you feedback.

Pros

The dress code was relaxed. That's about the only good thing I can say.

Cons

No advancement, toxic environment, gossiping coworkers, ridiculous turn over, HR inexplicably had hiring and firing power over everyone, and over all the biggest joke of a job ever.
