Pros

Pto & sick pay. Good job to get experience and go where you’ll actually be rewarded.

Cons

Like a high school, Management backs management even when wrong. This place is ran by politics, unless you brown nose, you will not be respected and looked at as replaceable. HR is crooked, and will try their hardest to cover up problems and get you to agree to keep your mouth shut. They also pay for their reviews and have someone as full time calling asking for reviews. They force the company to do top place to work, when they know half of staff is unhappy. They punish you for speaking up and will make you wanna leave if you speak up, I did.

Dear Ex-Employee, First off, I would like to thank you for your 3+ years of service with OTR. We added 100’s of employees and changed dramatically over the last three years, and I appreciate you sticking with us that long – especially under the circumstances you describe. I myself have resigned from companies that didn’t align with my values in the past, so I can appreciate your decision. Although I disagree with many of your claims, I want to let you know that I acknowledge your feedback. I would also like to take 100% of the blame for your negative experience with OTR as the employee experience is my #1 concern - I obviously failed you. Needless to say, I will add this feedback to our annual internal “Employee Voice” survey to see if there any current employees that share a similar experience. I am sorry that we did not deliver the “Top Workplace” experience that you deserve and I am happy that it sounds like you have found a company that is better suited to your needs. Of course, you can reach out to me directly if you would like to discuss further. My best, David King

Pros

Great colleagues and honest coworkers. The CEO Mr. King has a great vision and wants to do what's best for the company and its clients. There is not a single negative thing I can say about this man because I have a lot of respect for him and his mission.

Cons

The company does not value case managers as much as they should. Unfortunately management refuses to acknowledge the major issues at hand and instead blame their employees for their bad decisions. We had to watch a video a few months ago explaining why millennials were entitled brats to teach us a valuable lesson - keep your mouth shut and stop complaining or suffer the consequences. It's too bad because there were a lot of dedicated hard working employees that I had the pleasure of working with who had a lot to offer. Their great ideas were often ignored/dismissed and instead of working together with management it felt like we were always on opposing teams. I am 100000% sure they have no problem firing the entire department to replace everyone with new hires and am glad I left before it got worse. Also, can someone explain why there are there a bunch of kids with no experience running the departments? I don't think they understand what micromanaging means because we're all treated like 5 years old. They will write you up a lot because they have no viable solutions. Beware of this department!

Pros

*High turnover leads to opportunities to climb up the ladder, especially if you like to brown nose. *Some of mid management are great people who care and try their best

Cons

*If you're not in sales the pay equates to something you'd get out of high school, except they want you to have experience. *Owner likes to complain about paying employees and how much California wages are (which explais why they're opening up branches in other states). *They require you to write these glassdoor reviews hence why i'm rewriting mine post employment. *Don't expect to be paid any kind of competitive or fair wages. Expect to be lowballed at the last moment. Lots of "carrot on a stick" empty promises and management practices.
