MANAGEMENT. Management, management, management. HORRID. I am currently working for an employer who prides on active partnerships between HR and management, as well as looks to engagement as an important piece to building relationships. And let me tell you….what I’ve seen and experienced within Optima is nothing close to this. CEO plays complete favoritism (if he doesn’t like you, he will make your time there miserable - I know because I was his favorite and saw his treatment to me versus my colleagues). The managers are not up to par in competency but senior managers will turn a blind eye as opposed to seeing improvement as an opportunity (they would rather protect their manager cliques versus building TRUSTED relationships). And the HR department is poorly ran (yet, senior managers still don’t see that the high turnover rate is a concern). The Managing Partners of this company need to honestly take a step back and see what’s going on with the company because you have a tyrant running it to the ground. If you continue to turn a blind eye, you’re just as horrible as he is. And don’t bother responding to this review by highlighting your “awards and recognitions”. I challenge you to see if those were TRUTHFULLY awarded and if so, maybe think about a third party managing the entire process on survey responses and feedback because I can guarantee, there are more issues and concerns than excitement and accomplishments that they brag on. And if it’s excitement, it’s because we were all bought into the heavy drinking, party life culture they continue to blanket over everyone’s eyes. More responsibility; less than market range pay. There is no support to enhance the employee experience; there’s just selfishness to protect who the CEO likes more.
