Pros

Decent benefits, HSA match was cool Culture seemed pretty cool at first Regular performance feedback, which was all positive

Cons

Fired with no warning, as were others on the team. Had received positive performance review 4 weeks before being fired for 'performance' and they referred to stuff that had happened over 7 months ago which had not been brought up prior Found out they basically just hired overseas to replace us Cost cutting is fine and defensible business practice, pretending its performance related is not. Be honest. The products were a nightmare. They were so bad. Nothing worked. Sales and Account executives basically thought they were in charge of strategy I wish I never took this job. Product leadership had no teeth or opinion, unless it was agreeing with someone above them.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We read every review, including the difficult ones. Our product investment — particularly across technology that came in through acquisition — is real and ongoing. Our teams are actively working on it, and we're clear-eyed about the distance still to travel. We also take feedback on leadership decisions and transitions seriously; those moments matter, and we work to handle them with care. We can't address the specifics of any individual's employment here. If you're open to a direct conversation, our People team is available.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how ongoing change and evolving priorities can be difficult and unsettling. As a growth company, we have had to and will continue to adjust our strategy to stay responsive to market needs and to remain in a strong financial position. We know we can do better to support our teams through change and we are working with managers to improve that. We take all feedback seriously and are taking steps to respond and to improve everyone’s experience. We encourage you to communicate your concerns with your manager, with the People Team and with any member of the executive leadership team. Thank you for being an important part of the Pager Health team.
