A Good "In-Between" Job but...

Pros

Many of the employees are kind and helpful. In certain areas, the employees genuinely care and want the company to do well. Lots of technical training and an opportunity to network with many clients and other technology companies.

Cons

Any of the legacy PDS employees have been sticking around as it is a steady, but mediocre, paycheck with hopes that things will get back to how they were under initial leadership, but with 3 different CEO's in 5 years, it won't. The company keeps trying to be everything to all customers and they are not; you cannot be the best at everything. High turn-over rate at the service desk and technical level resources through entry-level roles all the way up to the top. It is no secret that people land at PDS while they are still looking for the right job, need a paycheck to get by and make a few new connections. Benefits are horrendous at best and PDS needs to invest in their talent if they want to keep people and prevent them from leaving. A LOT of work needs to be done at this company, but I believe it is too far gone and beyond repair at this point.

Pros

Lots of PTO. Management is friendly. Future employers love it if you've worked for PDS, they know the quality of PDS employees.

Cons

Work environment use to be friendly, like a big family. People would bring in food all the time, organize card games during lunch hours, go out together after work or for lunch, etc. That has all changed. Think of old PDS like a poor-man's Google, or a slightly less-cool Zendesk. It was pretty nice. Now though, totally changed. Picture any generic IT callcenter and you've got PDS. Pay is also pretty terrible. Going to a smaller company or one with better upper management and you will get at least two to four more $/hr.

Pros

When I worked there for the most part it was working with good people and team work with comment goals good benefit package.

Cons

When the company was sold and the changed CEO from the founder the company went the hell. They will stab you in the back promise you one thing give you something else. From some reliable inside information they are doing something’s that don’t make sense like closing offices. I would be very careful and have back up plan if you start to work there. Keep you eye out for the management.
