Pros

The children are incredible. Watching them learn and grow is what kept me there. My coworkers have become great friends. I've learned a lot about where I want to be and what I want to be doing.

Cons

Therapy staff are not supported by the upper management/admin staff. CEO's only care about making money. They only focus is on the business scope, there is no focus or support in regard to the growth or benefit of the children or families. CEO's are not involved in anything and most employees wouldn't even know who they were if they saw them in the hall. Even with a graduate degree or extra certifications there is no way to move up in the company or get raises. They absolutely don't care whether or not you stick around. I know of multiple people, myself included, who were told they'd "been there too long." Which was also how they justified me not getting a raise upon earning a masters degree. If you have any kind of issue, there is absolutely no one to go to because all of the supervisors talk about everyone and never keep anything confidential.

Dear Former employee, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We appreciate the feedback, and will take all of your comments into consideration as we plan for the future. We are always looking into areas where we can make improvements. Starting as a Behavior Therapist Aide, there are many opportunities to advance within the company, beginning with the promotion to Behavior Therapist. Partners offers unique and extensive training opportunities for staff, ensuring that therapists have the knowledge they need. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss some of your concerns further so we can continually approve. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime (Dthomas@pieofmn.com) Thank you again, Deb Thomas Owner & CEO

Pros

The children are awesome! I truly enjoy watching these kiddos grow and do some pretty amazing things at Partners!

Cons

Extremely low wages for the educational requirements. Poor management, and a disconnect between the administration and floor staff. The paid time off (PTO) policy is ridiculous! You basically get punished for missing work due to being sick (even though we work with children closely). The management staff NEVER listens to the needs of its employees. Empty promises! The center is gross, dirty and outdated. Never clean! Under-appreciated and over-worked! Turn-over rate is embarrassing! The kiddos are the ones that are being hurt the most when an employee is suppose to be 1:1 but are actually doubled, and sometimes tripled.

Dear PBT, Thank you for taking the time to review. My door is always open and I would like to talk in person and discuss some of your concerns- please reach out to me at Dthomas@partnersmn.com. We thank you for your time and dedication to Partners in Excellence and I am glad to hear you are feeling rewarded from working with our clients. In response to the wages, I want you to know we recently reviewed all of our competitors wages as well as the state average for pay for this line of work, and we are paying right in line with these averages. We continue to work at our communication with staff and management each and every day. We communicate through our newsletter, the Partners' Press, our quarterly Management Newsletter, as well as trainings and additional meetings. Again, the doors are open to you to always come and talk and bring up any concerns you may have. We are working at updating our center and have recently hired a new cleaning crew. As you can imagine, it can be difficult to always keep the center spotless due to the nature of the work, but we are addressing each concern as quickly as possible. Lastly, our turnover rate is actually LOWER than the state and national average. Due to the nature of the job, it is considered a high-turnover position and this is fairly normal. Regardless, we address each concern during our exit interviews and always hope that our employees will stay with us as long as it is a great position for them. Thank you again for your time, and I encourage you to bring these concerns to your supervisor or to myself directly. Kindly, Deb Thomas CEO and Owner
