      Great place to get your foot in the door

      Pros

      A fun place to work at times, a great place to get started in the grooming industry, you'll have a lot of support to fall back on if something goes wrong. Benefits are great.

      Cons

      Company as a whole is very pushy and off-putting with sales, email captures, moments apps, pitting coworkers against each other. A lot of unrealistic expectations placed upon groomers - throwing more and more things at us to do and remember.

      Great customers. Get to help animals.

      Cons

      The home office does not care about store employees. They constantly demand more work while trying to pay less and less for that work. They create an environment that promotes stressfull unsafe conditions then they punish anyone who speaks up, or gets hurt. They force employees to be rude by telling them to demand email addresses or push sales of things people don't need. If the employees don't do these things they are written up or even fired.

      Working with all the animals! Okay short term job. You get to work with a lot of people who actually care about their pets. You learn a lot about different animals

      Cons

      Company no longer cares about animals and their safety all they care about is how to save themselves from bad press. Most management doesn’t really care about employees nor do they have their employees back. Only work there as a last resort or to gain experience leave as soon as you can
