Pros

Good benefits/ days off. Considerate management staff & HR is on top of it. Continued learning.

Cons

You have to make a commitment of 3 years in the service center to ever get promoted from that job. Have to pass exam after exam after exam. I was told that I had to complete 2 exams but when I was hired I heard about an additional 1, and another 1 that I could take to improve my chance of being promoted. The work life balance is horrible- you have to study everyday when you get home for years- no family or friend time. Parking is a disaster. People leave all the time because there is no room for promotion here. They don't pay enough for everything they expect.

Thank you for providing honest feedback. Insights such as yours help us improve communication with employees and the overall PlanMember work environment. Securities exams are standard in the finance industry and without them we could not serve our clients. Having the opportunity to earn securities licenses is a key reason many individuals choose PlanMember. These exams can be difficult and we work diligently to improve training and test preparation support to maximize our employees’ chances of success. If you have additional feedback, please reach out to me at angel@planmember.com.

Pros

Very nice people to work with, reasonable types. Exceptional HR department (never thought I would say that about anyone!)

Cons

There is a degree of dysfunctionality across some business units that results in strange requirements and an unusual inability to learn from mistakes.

Pros

it is near a beach so its a nice location

Cons

Overall a dysfunctional staff at best, toxic work environment, no team work, lots of lying and backstabbing etc... Excessive hours with the promise of time off which doesn't happen, Unrealistic expectations on projects and minimal if any project testing due to pressure and no understanding by middle management of what it takes . Be prepared to be called on the carpet for something you did not or had nothing to do with. Do you have a family? This company is not for you.
