Pros
Career training and potential for career growth. The exposure to Lean manufacturing process, Six Sigma training, and Theory of constraints is still on the classroom level. The companies have a long way to go to get the efforts in practice
Cons
The divided corporate structure can mean that talent is lost in buildings with weaker upper management. I find that the need to constantly measure the talent of people will prevent major breakthroughs from occuring.
