Pros

The people who work here make this job. Your peers want you to succeed. Flexibility is nice, but it doesn't compensate for pay or actual support on the job.

Cons

This is not a chicken or the egg situation - this company was started on selling survey services, setting them up, and then providing quality data. The company has exploded since clients have to participate in CAHPS and has completely lost sight of supporting it's people and it's clients. Press Ganey's bread and butter now is the people selling and setting up CAHPS for clients, which is good, but the people doing the work are not valued, supported at all, and Press Ganey hesitates to develop them for fear of them leaving. They really believe that more responsibility is a reward rather than raises or promotions. This is also a very political environment. If you don't have a tough skin, you will be eaten alive.

Pros

Can't think of any pros.

Cons

Before it was bought out by an equity firm, it was a very good culture. After the buyout, many employees were let go on a regular basis for no reasons given.

At Press Ganey, we’re proud of the culture that you referenced and that is reflected by our recognition on Becker’s list of the top places to work in healthcare, but we’re sorry you didn’t feel that way most recently. The associates who make up Press Ganey are our most important assets. We are both judicious and disciplined about our hiring practices to ensure that we have the appropriate resources to provide unparalleled solutions and services to our clients. Press Ganey’s status as either a public or privately held company has never affected these decisions, nor has it ever led to staff reductions.

Pros

Money but don't be fooled by the offer, you will be required to work 24/7 and that won't be enough

Cons

Dishonest leadership, no work life balance, punitive culture, lack of leadership accountability, lots of turnover, technology highly inferior to competitors, massive workload, highly toxic environment, need I say more?

At Press Ganey we view our own culture with the same high level of commitment and focus as our clients. Through our own engagement solution, we regularly solicit feedback and measure our performance with associates. The findings are reviewed by company leadership, and we have continually incorporated insights from this feedback into our company. As a result, we are proud to have a highly engaged, mission-driven organization with an average tenure of more than 5 years. We are also proud to be named, for the third year in a row, as one of the “150 Great Places to Work in Healthcare” by Becker’s Healthcare. Moving forward, we will continue our commitment to providing a work environment that supports talent development, employee engagement and professional development opportunities for all our associates.
