Pros

They are very friendly people, feels like you are in a family. Great benefits, flexible schedule, quiet and warm atmosphere.

Cons

Public company, if market goes down no matter how good you are working... Not much opportunity to grow.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate the sentiments and agree that our culture is warm, friendly and feels like a family. Our culture is a great source of pride, and it’s one of the many reasons why we’re consistently recognized as a great place to work by industry publications such as Becker’s. It’s also worth noting that on October 21, 2016, Press Ganey became a private company after being purchased by EQT, a leading global private equity group. This new operating structure provides Press Ganey with a deep platform and valuable resources to support our continued growth and service to our clients.

Pros

The company has an amazing mission to improve patient experience and reduce suffering. It's something anyone could get behind. I met some incredibly intelligent and genuine people during my time. PG is very respected in the health care world.

Cons

The company culture is horrible and stuck in the 80s. It's an older company with many tenured employees that would not last a second in another company in a major city like Boston or New York, but remain at PG because of politics. These individuals are not open to change (if it ain't broke don't fix it mentality) Not a fast-paced or innovative environment and I did not witness very much teamwork or collaboration. The focus of the organization is on impressing important clients with little to no focus on improving the culture and the happiness of employees.

Thank you for your feedback. Just as Press Ganey is dedicated to our mission to reduce patient and caregiver suffering, we are equally committed to continuous improvement and innovation within our own culture. Culture is critical for our client’s success and it is similarly a priority at Press Ganey. We adopt the same best practices that we utilize with our clients, which include bi-annual surveys to assess culture and engagement throughout the organization. Learnings from these surveys are reviewed by the leadership team and incorporated into our corporate culture and operations. Press Ganey also facilitates engagement focus groups and has implemented the Engagement Council, which provides regular support and recommendations to our leaders, as they continue to work to improve the overall engagement of their respective teams. Through employee recognition and professional development programs, as well as multiple efforts to build employee unity through events, community service, and team celebrations, Press Ganey offers many opportunities to grow and contribute to the organization in a meaningful way. In 2015, the company promoted more than 100 employees for their high-quality work, teamwork and collaboration. We care deeply about delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients and are dedicated to fostering communication and collaboration across the organization in order to do so.
